Mongolian beef that you can try:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned on all sides.
Add the ginger and garlic to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and stir to combine.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked through.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
